hubcaps aka wheel covers dont fit.

bought some 14" hubcaps for my 14" steel wheels. they dont fit. to be more specific its as if the inside lip of the wheel is bigger than the cover.

almost as if im trying to fit a 13" wheel cover on a 14" wheel. but wheel (tire) says R14 and the package and cover say 14" i take it the aveo steel wheel isnt standard? wont except a universal hubcap?
do i have to spend $100 for oem junk?

Check those covers again. When I had my '04 I had some universal covers on, and I'm positive it was the original steel wheels. There may be a ring on the inside of the cover you can mount on a different tab to make the cover tighter.
