Just hit 46k on my 2004 Aveo.
i'm at 153k 2010 right now, had new suspension put in at 148k and now dealing with either oil cooler leak or head gasket issue.
I'm at 185k with my 06 hatchback. I've driven almost 60k miles in 2 years since I've owned it and I drive pretty rough, hence my account name.... Needs new front exhaust pipe and manifold, and probably a new cat. Plus little things. The parts will be worth more than the car's worth, but I think the car would last maybe another 30-50k miles. In that respect, I think it would be worth it if it will last. I do almost all the repairs and maintenance by myself. Great car if you want to learn how to work on cars, because parts are fairly cheap!
I'm trying to milk it to over 200k miles by 2019. :D
I had 249,000+ miles (and i never replaced nothing on the car besides normal maintenance stuff like oil) before tire came apart and destroyed the wiring system. I would not replace it at $1000 for the wiring system plus god now what labor would be. Loved that car
I'm at 272,XXX miles and I am trying to get to 300,000. ;) Just replaced the heater core hose for the 3rd time.... I was driving and the engine started getting warm. Pulled over and the hose had a hole in it and was leaking antifreeze. I decided to do this 3rd timing belt change early and on my own 2 months ago and it went pretty good........ until last week.......I will post the rest of the story of it not starting in another thread.........great car.....still lots of life left in her.......
My 04 Aveo made 200,000 today, the only thing I have done to it is replace the brakes and rotors a few times and replace the bearings front and rear as well as lower ball joints and tie rod ends, oh yes, and I am getting ready to replace the timing belt and serpentine belt for the second time. Great little car! I did replace the radiator because something popped up from underneath the car and damaged the radiator, not because it went bad.
I have 190k on it
167,000 miles on my 2008 Aveo...just had timing belt, water pump ,tensioners replaced..runs like a champ
155k km on mine, a 2014. I was worried about how long would it last, but I'm feeling a lot more confident now.
I got all of you beat......My 2004 Aveo has has 262,670 on it.
2011 chevrolet aveo my kilometers currently is 127 654 on the clock
I recently bought a 2009 Aveo 5 with under 2,000 miles that was kept in a garage, waxed a few times, with a battery maintainer on it all of the time. When the car was new, the battery was bad so the dealer put in a new AC Delco battery. The battery still works as well as when the battery was new.
Guys, a battery maintainer is worth the $25 to $40, especially on rigs that sit most of the season.
My 2008 Aveo 5 has 53,000 miles on it. I am car poor (too many cars) so I don't put a lot of miles on each car.
Hi, I started this thread, mine has been recently "unallocated" at exactly 190,000 miles. Still runs excellent, drives fair, body in bad shape from salt.
My 08 aveo5 is currently at 223,000 miles
Mines somewhere around 254,600 miles running strong too and I know someone who lives by me with one almost at 300,000 miles but there transmission is about to go out he didn't say how the motor was so I imagine it's fine (thinking about buying it off him for the body)
Oh btw mines an 04 I forgot what year his is but it's close to mine I think it was an 06
First post... I have a 2009 LS bare-bones model that I purchased new for $9,500. I just hit 250,000 miles (402,336 km) a couple of weeks ago. One of the best investments I've ever made.

Mine is already 138390 on my aveo 2006 LT sedan. Now it has an intermittent stalling problem. Chevy shop cannot solve the problem the time I brought to them. :(
('07 LS) i hit 180,000 miles last week, purchased it for $3,000 two years go with 115K ... based on how it's ran so far, i would think 300K is definitely doable, maybe more
Hi Guys,
I have a 2011 Chevrolet Aveo Sedan 1.6 l/s Auto, i have 132 000kms on the clock. I just find that because i have 17'' mags on my car the wheel bearings get damaged fast. Just 1 month back i changed my brake shoes and drums now saving up to sort the front wheel bearings and my front brakes. I use safe line brakes on my car.
thanks
Angelo from South Africa the city Durban.
2010 Chevy Aveo5 LT1 - aprox. 245373KM
Edit: August 14th: 247599 KM
I have 230000 kilometres on my 2010 5 speed trans. 10 years trouble free but now seems to have head gasket probs plus needs front end work.
Currently sitting at 172447 miles. Replaced the thermostat/housing and upstream O2 sensor. Prior to that I had to replace rubber hose from MASS sensor. I’m getting about 27mpg mostly to and from work.
2005 Aveo LS Hatchback, currently at 258,600 miles, suspension, clutch, gates timing belts kits every 2 years, thermostat and housing, radiator, all coolant hoses replaced with gates, front wheel bearings, rear hubs, upper o2 sensor, cam sensor, and both front calipers all have been replaced throughout the years, along with regular tuneups.
I may never know how much I can put on it. 2006 Aveo 5 and still under 60K miles.
My 2006 Aveo Hatchback is just about 220,000 miles. I've put on about 90k in 6 years. I think she might be getting on her last legs but we will see.
I know this is an old thread but I would like to put my response here. I own a 2006 Chevy Aveo that I bought back in October for my birthday and I’ve had the car for 6 months now and as I last recorded my millage at 125,080 miles on the odometer here in the United States as far as I can tell it’s the original engine that was in the car when it was new.
Mine is a 2005 and it about to hit 270k miles lol. It just started having issues, I need to fix her :'(
219K. and i too want to keep this car. right it needs a wash and a cleaning though...got lazy this past few months with all the stuff going on. -cheers!
2011 Aveo
Hit around 235K
Update: Just realized I bought this puppy 11 years, 2 months ago tonight. My car now has 157,750 miles on it and I'm still happy with it. My 0-mile commute in 2009 became an 80-mile R/T commute in 2016, and progressed to a 100-mile R/T commute in 2018. :( The car has served me well over the years and I hope to keep it rolling for as long as possible.
158000 miles
Dunno if anyone posts here anymore, but I've got a 2006 LS that's still running strong at 192k miles (308k Km)!
I bought my Aveo new in 2011. I think that was the last year for Aveo. I currently have just under 55,000 miles. I love my little Aveo!!
I saw another thread regarding the clock - my clock no longer keeps accurate time. It changes each time I start the car.
My solution was to purchase an inexpensive wrist-watch from Walmart. Hope my picture attaches correctly. :o)

I'm very happy to have made it to the 200,000 mile club. My girlfriend (now wife) bought the car pre-owned with less then 30,000miles on the clock. I've personally added over 100,000 miles to this car. Something I've never done with any other vehicle I've owned. It is a love hate relationship with this car, but honestly not too many bad things to say about the car. As long as I keep my expectations in check we will have a long lasting and loving relationship. 2007 Aveo 4 door auto.
122,000 miles. So far all highway miles. Surprisingly the car has a lot of pep and can still pickup pace with new cars when getting on the highway.
I've got 215k on my 08
207k on mine tough lil car... and still going hard
I just hit 220000! Its a 2010.
