Definately want to see pics of the sonic.
OK, I took some time today and removed all of the Ford stuff from the dealer! I got my plate and put them on, etc... I was thinking on the way home, in the last 4 years I have had one of each of this type of Chevy;
1. 1994 Geo Metro - paid $1400 in 2010, drove it 2 years and sold it for basically $1400 not including that I drove this car over 400 miles a week for a year getting paid $.55 per mile!
2. 2004 Aveo - Paid $2650 in 2012, it has been totaled, the insurance company of the guy at fault is paying me $3200, plus I am going to try to get the blue 2004 Aveo that I have as my avatar and put the motor and transmission from mine in it and it will be my daughter's first car, I just have to get the title worked out - hopefully that won't be too difficult.
3. 2013 Sonic - paid 10500 for it, used cargurus to find it about 90 miles away, so far I love this car!
Come to think of it, had I gotten a Sonic that was a year newer, I would have gotten one that was from the same year of every decade, or if I had gotten one 1 year older, I would have gotten the first year of each model.
Anyway, after I have Frankensteined the 2 cars, I will sell any parts that are worth "recycling" then off to the scrap heap for the poor yellow Aveo!

I will get better pictures later, it was raining when I took these, plus it was dusk, so they are not the best.
Very nice!

I know what my first "mod" will be! Very simple, the Aveo had a holder for glasses, in lieu of the handle above the door on the driver's side, I removed it from the Aveo, and removed the handle from the Sonic, now I have to make some adjustments to the glasses holder for it to fit, just widen the holes and remove small amount of plastic. I have also got my steering wheel cover in, it's old school leather. I'll get pics on hopefully this weekend.
You know the Sonic is just a better looking Aveo. Too bad they re-branded the name. So what are plans for O'Yeller there?
you didn't post any of the important stuff about the sonic, engine, transmission, etc..
> You know the Sonic is just a better looking Aveo.
Ditto!
The Big aveo next to a gen1. My LS has a bit of 'wheel envy' in this pic.
by that logic, then it is a rebranded-rebranded metro
I have to look into the title on a blue Aveo that needs a motor & tranny.
1.8 ltr, auto tranny, LT package, touring suspension, I think that pretty much covers the most important things that may not be standard on the LT package
