The Aveo 5 is a small car so it has its weak spots in a rear impact, but that is an issue with all hatchbacks. Getting in accidents is largely effected by YOU the driver. There are some situations where things can't be avoided, but most of the time if you are attentive you can avoid problems, and there are many things you can do to avoid getting into those situations in the first place. Sounds like mr know it all boyfriend needs to stop texting/talking/tailgating/etc. while he drives.
Plus one on defensive driving and a car capable of avoiding accidents. I have been in 2 wrecks where I was the driver. Both totaled the car. One I was at a red light, the other waiting to pull out of an apartment complex.Quote:
