      A frame (for towing)

      hi all
      have any of you used a A frame for towing,thinking of buying one to take my aveo down for a mot
      just would like some advise

      I have used one, but not connected to an Aveo.

      Not 100% sure where the attachment points are on this car.

      the ones ive been looking at just link around the wishbones but not sure how it makes the wheel turn on the non driver car

      The front wheels steer/follow the lead vehicle as you go around a corner - the "caster" built into the front geometry allows this. Like pulling a shopping cart.

      Provided you have the ignition key turned so the steering wheel is unlocked.

      I have used different types, If you are going to tow the car regularly I recommend an RV attachment. That would install pink links through the bumper grill. I have never had one, but have seen cars with them, both attached and driving.

      Don't these typically have you lock the steering so the car acts like a 4 wheel (tandem axles) trailer?
      Maybe I am thinking of the wrong thing, but even two dollies do not have wheels that turn.

      Or is this one of those "put the car in neutral going down hill in the snow" discussions where everyone dies it different and now one is really right or wrong?

      I've only used the 4-wheels on the ground, attached to the vehicle frame type of rig. It worked best with the steering unlocked and the front wheels steered around corners (going forward )
