      Thumbs up fob key trunk entry

      hi guys just joined today.bought wife 2005 wave 3 years ago with 115,000km on it now has 218,00km and had no problems at all(oil changes every 5,000km)new tires 1 time,flushed autotrans 1 time.other then that no maintenance at all,(original timing belt)just added gas and windshield fluid very happy with my daewoo.so long story short yesterday bought her a christmas present a 2007 chev aveo lt (auto,p sunroof) 38,488km only thing that doent work is the fob keyless trunk.trunk release inside car works,key opens trunk from keyhole.when keyles is pressed on fob it doesnt make any noise on trunk release.so my question is any1 else solve this problem on thiers. a fuse maybe i dont see 1 though.thanks for any help

      the actual button on the fob might just be worn out, its contacts could be dirty, etc.

      the release i think is f15, same spot as the locks..

      i have 2 keys 1 spare (never used) and 1 lightly used.when you push trunk button from key light works on key showing it in use.i guess i need to know where the reciever is located for the key-trunk lock rf(radio wave)the button on door to open trunk seems to be electric.

      try the spare before going any further.

      i believe the transmitter is in the kick panel near the fuse box/pedals.

      oops figured it out.when u push button nothing happens.when u hold button down 3 blinks 1.5-2 seconds trunk pops.guess thats so u accendently dont open truck .
