      Clock and air bag

In my Chevy Aveo 2009 car the clock will not keep time no more. We can set the time and when we park the car and turn off when it is turned back on the time is messed up again. Why is that happening?? It has been doing this for awhile so we bought a new car battery and that didn't help.

So what else can we do to fix this situation???

Also since we bought the car the little light thingy on top of the dash board that say Air Bag on/off is always on the off. Sometimes it fixes and the on light shows. Why would this be happening??? I want to know why does this happen??

Thanks in advance for any and all help..

Not sure about the clock. But maybe I can help with the airbag light. Thats for the passenger airbag as is only enabled when there is I believe 50lbs or more in the passenger seat. If it still doesnt work with somebody in the passenger seat maybe the little weight sensor located in or under not to sure may need replaced. Hope this helped

First, read this thread about my identical problem as yours click here.

If the car is still under warranty take it to a dealer and get them to fix it.

BTW, now my clock works 50% of the time and the rest of the time it is blank. The clock is a piece of garbage.
