Carbon Fiber Products by racing proven CF Company

This time this is for real...no newbie company, but an actual company willing to make REAL Carbon Fiber parts (full replacement parts, i.e. lightweight) for the Aveo.

So what can WE ALL DO??

Participate... if you would TRULY (you would buy when its available) interested, they will produce. The best part, we only need 5 participants to get started.

First up product is an engine cover, similar to the one I previously had. Smooth top, pre-drilled mounting holes and oil cap hole. Mold will be created for a Factory Stock engine cover so it will have a perfect factory fit.

Similar to this, but they promise a much better quality product.

Best part, they say they can make these for only $150 a piece!!!

So come one people, lets step up...first an engine cover, next others stuff.

Oh, and they can do the "colored carbon" weaves as well, with the colored Kevlar mixed into the carbon fiber weave.

      Other possible future products
      Rear Window Wiper Trim (Hatch)
      Door Handle Kit
      Rear Door Window Trim (Hatch)
      License Plate Filler (Hatch)
      Gas Filler Door (Hatch)
      Gas Filler Door (Sedan)
      Interior Door Trim (Pair)
      Power Switch Kit (Covers)
Power Window Switch Pods (Set of 4)
      Glove Box Door Face
      Fuse Panel
      Steering Column Upper/Lower Cover
      Gauge Cluster Pod (2 Piece)
      Timing Belt Cover
      Engine Fuse Box Cover
      Exhaust Manifold Cover
Cold Air Intake Tube (2 piece)

I really don't see the point of these products in carbon fibre other than looks, and in that case I don't see the point of using real carbon fibre (cause of the price).

The only things worth doing carbon fibre for unless you have deep pockets are things like hatch/trunk, hood, fenders, and any other big peices where there'd actually be weight savings.

and really for the aveo there isnt going to be that big of a weight savings because the hood, fenders, etc are already pretty light. mikes CF hood is probably like no more than a couple pounds lighter. and for around $400, it wouldnt be worth it to me. Unless you just like the looks, or need a new hood and want something different (mikes case).

damn, u argued my arguement for me. carbon fiber parts IMO would be good if you plan to go BIG. meaning that you pretty much transform the aveo body from steel and aluminum to carbon fiber. and that would be sorta cool. i also do like the looks of it but right now my focus is on performance, like gettin aftermarket motor and tranny mounts-hehehehehe!

had to dig this up from the grave. i do beleive with minimal fitment issues, this intake would work. may hve to actually have the filter in the hole where the resonator would be but i think it could work.

get them to make stuff for the GTO.
      That needs some weight savings.
