      Blue Devil/Leaky Heater Core

I'm anxious to hear from anyone who has tried Blue Devil to solve a leaking heater core. I'm prepared (or maybe not) to rip out my dash to replace the leaky heater core, but want to exhaust all possibilities to avoid doing 10-12 hours of labor on my 3 yr old (63K mile) car. Naturally, GM doesn't want to know I exist. Your thoughts please...

My thoughts...if it works well enough to plug a leak, it likely works well enough to plug other places in the cooling system. I'd stay away from the stop leak stuff.
Sorry GM, the Turbo Sonic was priced too close to the Focus ST. I gots me a Ford.

removing the dash now is better than removing it in three month with the temp drop.

I agree on both points. I just watched someone dump some radiator stop leak into their coolant. It looked like wet sand mixed with pepper. Not something I would put into my car. Besides, patching just isn't as reliable as a new part with a new limited-life time warranty.
