Question Aveo5 LS 2009 - A/C & Temperature Gauge Temporal Sudden Death When Driving 70 mph

      External Temperature: Low 80s
Car Velocity: 70 mph Steady for 45' at least
      Temperature Gauge: Middle Mark (Normal)
A/C: Working Maximum Cool at Middle Fan

Suddenly A/C begins to blow warmer air, no A/C
Temperature Gauge dead, below minimal mark

I stopped the car believing that something happened with radiator or water pump
      Nothing wrong found
Coolant flowing thru radiator and water hoses on warm temperature

I started the car and went back home
      Next morning, car working 100%

Same problem has happened three times by now and the mechanic recommendation was
to replace the coolant thermostat but why the A/C died and even worst, the temperature gauge

I had not run the Aveo5 at 70 mph this year before the summer
      Does anyone have similar issue?

I had the same problem and replaced the thermostat and housing. It worked just fine after doing that.

      Thumbs up Temperature Working OK

Following the advise, the whole Coolant Thermostat (body & sensor) was replaced
Three things began to work 100% after CLEARING CODES:
      Temperature Gauge
      A/C
      Second Radiator Fan
and of course, the coolant thermostat
      Thank you very much
