Aveo pilot lights on front fenders

I have a 2007 Chevy Aveo and noticed those small lights on each front fender sides. Do those illuminate?
Did they when the car was new and can they be fixed? Dumb questions but just never thought to ask until

Yes, I did not know they were turn signals. I will test them as turn signals next time I drive the car.

If they are burned out though, is there a way to replace them?

Okay, now I feel real dumb. As you said Enexbre, they are turn signals and YES, they work! I have had this car for 4 years
and am now just learning about them. Thanks for the reply. Mine is running like champ, just hit 75,600 miles today. Love it!

So the final question on this subject, has anyone ever replaced these turn signal lights? I see the part diagram in the service manual.

Just trying to figure out if anyone has ever attempted a replacement.

I see them all the time in the junk yard. There are always Aveo's freshly junked monthly there. I may wish to grab a few.
