Aveo with the LOWEST miles / km? ('04 with 59,000 km / 37k miles)

Yeah, yeah -- it's fun to talk about whose Aveo has the highest miles on it so far.

But today I saw this ad for a 2004 Aveo with only 59,000 km (37k miles) on it! That got me wondering if anybody else has an especially LOW miles/km car on their hands.

We had someone join the forum last fall to ask about used prices because he was selling a relative's Aveo with super low kms, but I can't find the thread now. I'm pretty sure it was a lot less than this one for sale.

My 2007 Aveo has 16K miles on it. I bought it a year ago from my little old lady neighbor. She was the original owner and never drove it. It had 4K miles when I bought it! I use it as a commuter box. Upgraded the sound system. Sweet ride, no frills, but very nice.

      Ha! Nice find!

My car was owned by a little old lady too: 1998 Chevrolet Metro (Pontiac Firefly in Canada). It was 7 years old with under 2000 km on it! She got sick after she bought it, and then stopped driving altogether. It was parked in a garage for years and didn't move.

It's got ~38,000 km on it now (24k miles). Other than oil changes, brake rotors and exhaust, I haven't had to do anything to it.

I am the original owner of a 2004 Aveo LS Sedan with every factory option available at the time. Got it in May 2004! Originally it was my mom's car to bop around town. She is 103 now and doesn't drive anymore. I kept the car because I love it for around town also, but have gone on trips with it also. I find it very peppy and quiet. It has 27,000 miles. It is in EXCELLENT condition despite sitting outside 24/7/365 in Southern CT! It is a silver color. Until recently, everything on it was original. Just replaced the battery 2 years ago from the original. Thought I got my money's worth out of it. Just replaced the brakes and rotors this past summer. Had all other fluids and filters changed, new hoses, spark plugs, wires etc. All this was done at a private garage that has an excellent mechanic that is as honest as the day is long and INEXPENSIVE. If he thinks that something does NOT need to be done, even if it's on your list, he will not do it. If I had this work done at a Chevy dealer it would have cost a fortune and most likely they would have told me that I needed a million other things changed/replaced. I expect many more years of fun with this car. I have 2 others, so this does not get driven much.
