right with ya dan. after our last meet in michigan i was pretty pissed myself. people who say they are going to meets then dont go are FTL.

Yeah gee what happened to the 4 people who said they'd be there and they 2 that said maybe? Why'd you all punk out? Or were you just talking BS and had no real plans on going. "Gee here are phone numbers to reach us," but never pick up or return the calls. I was hoping some of the people here would have the integrity to follow through with what they say, but now I'm starting to feel like some of you are just kids who say they are going to show up but really know that "mommy and daddy" won't let you. If you aren't going to show and you know it, then don't f*%$ing say you are, and if for some reason you can't, then post it! But don't lead people on and make them drive across states just to not show. Jacka$$es

i guess i'm gonna be the first "guilty as convicted". daniel, i owe you a huge apology. i knew the meet was coming and followed up on the posts to make sure i knew what was happening. i got really busy with the bus company and to be honest when saturday came i said "****, i'm supposed to be in indiana. dude i'm really sorry you made that trip for no reason at all. especially since you and the mrs just had a baby. i'd like to reimburse you some of the fuel cost as a gesture of good will. do you have a paypal acct?

nychevoo: tryin to offer money to cover fuel costs doesnt really solve anything. altho im sure dan wouldnt mind it, the point is that people broke their promise/s, especially the person who attempted to organize this. at least u have owned up and apologized and thats big. its a very frustrating thing to go thru. all this hype and talk about a meet, then u get there and ur 1 of 2 or in dans last case 1 of 1, that actually is pretty hurtful. a broken promise sux. but i still hold respect for u nychev, at least u apologized and are attempting to right it the best u can.

i agree with you. breaking a promise and offering money doesnt solve anything. my thoughts on this were even though i know it wont make up for anything since daniel and his mrs just had a baby i'm sure the money spent on fuel couldve been better spent to pay bills or care for his family. i honestly didnt mean to blow off the meet, but we got really busy at the bus company, and i am ops mgr and couldnt break away. i did really want to go.
