2009 chevy Aveo5 LT

My wife's 2009 Chevy Aveo5 LT has started going through a phase where it will lose power and there is no throttle response. Sometimes it will finally clear itself up and run fine, but other times you have to pull over and cut it off for about 10 minutes. The check engine light never comes on, and there are no codes showing up when tested. Here lately, it seems to happen every time gas is added. We have used gas treatment to see if water may be the problem, but nothing has worked. Checked the VIN for any recalls and it tells us there are none. I would appreciate it if anyone, who has experienced the same problem and found a fix, could pass on information as to what is causing this.

Interesting, I'm new to Aveo too. Unfortunately, I got deeper issues, w a P0599 code (thermostat unit) and now I have the Hold light flashing. This car sat for a few months and a bit of a project. Hope you found your issue.
