Can somebody please help me. I recently went to a mechanic to get a new alternator put into my car. After I picked it up my radio is not working and my clock on the dash goes out everytime I open my door. Sumbody told me it might be a fuse or I need to get the code for radio to reset it. How much do you think it will cost for the dealer to give me the code and fix the issue with my clock and the radio. Or can I go to a shop other than a dealer

It is a fuse. If anything, go to your local auto part store and they can help you with it if you can not do it yourself.
