AveoClub/AveoForum: cleaned up and under new management

Why is the new management interested in this forum?

I had actually been thinking about starting an Aveo forum for 2 years (registered another Aveo domain in 2008 . I've been interested in Aveos since they first came out, mainly because I own a couple of GM's previous entry level car (Pontiac Firefly/Geo Metro). I've got a soft spot for the runt of the litter, I guess.

Tim and I are gearheads, plus we have experience building / running / moderating other forums. So when the opportunity to revive AveoClub came up, we decided to go for it. Seemed like a waste to let it die completely because there's a lot of good info posted here.

Well, the site sure does look nice. The only other one I found before this site was aveoclub.proboards.com, but it seems like everyone gave up on that site. Even though it does have some good info and write-ups. I don't know what this site used to be like, but it sure looks nice now. +1 on the props for the forum logo. =D>
