      Transmission Cooler Line Assembly Problem

      Hello all,

First time poster here. I have a 2009 Chevy Aveo LT Automatic.

I noticed a leak, and was able to trace it to the cooler line assembly. The part number is 96536654. It was removed and ordered with no difficulty, but when I removed it, another part came off with it and I can not get the 2 parts separated. I would now just like to order the part that it is stuck to, but I can not find any reference to it anywhere.

I have many diagrams that show the part number that broke, but all of them only show an arrow with a "A/T CASE". I can not find any diagrams of the transmission that show the connector attached, so I can get its part number.

      Can anyone help?

      For reference:

Pic3 is a pic of the whole part that broke. The tubing sprung a leak above the threaded nut.

pic2 is the diagram of the parts list showing the attachments(except for the one I need). My part is inside the box labeled "2".

pic1 is a photo of the part I removed that was leaking after I cut off the rest of the bad part where the tubing meets the nut.

The left side of pic1 is the part I am looking for. That is what screws into the transmission case. It looks a little bit like a spark plug, but the other end of it receives the part I am replacing The right side of pic1 shows the stripped nut that will not separate from the part I am trying to identify after cutting off the rest of the part.

Can anyone give me guidance as to the part number, or where I could go to find it?

      Thank you.

you need one each for one line or two each for both lines.

I saw that diagram, but missed the 90 degree turn.

      Part ordered.

      Thank you!
