The valve cover is not.perfect, and I didn't expect it to be considering the price. There was cast slag that needed to be cleaned off a lot of the surfaces. Also the spark plug cover bolts weren't drilled perfectly center, which made it harder to remove one of them. I reused my Allen headed screws in the end.

The swap itself isn't difficult or lengthy. In fact it took me longer to get all the tiny bits of Styrofoam of of it than the swap itself.

Here's my finished product. Surprising how much it looks like Eg.h2o. Hoping it works as good as it looks.

Yours looks great. Yours must be the premium grade cover as mine doesn’t even have the machining for the valve cover bolt o-ring. It came with the o-rings but I can’t use them. It’s ok though as I’ve had no leaks from there (or anywhere else on the cover).

      My little $h1tbox

I have a "newer" model it's an 08. The PCV system looks a bit different ( i don't have the thick hose on the transmission side ). Is there a way I can somehow retro fit this aluminum cover? I'm tired of the oil leaks... But I don't want to compromise the pcv system so it will drink the oil .
