Trying to get a heater hose off I broke off this white plastic thing right above the second EC on the motor. It seems like some kind of vacuum tube. What is it? Can I super glue it back on? What happens if I run it disconnected for very long?

Hi all,

Isn't that the fuel tank vapour hose purge valve? If so, and you drive it with a crack or leak in that connection, it'll throw a purge valve or related fuel vapour code within 3 trips or less. But the engine may still run fine.
