When I check the fluid lever at the overflow hole / plug , leave it idling in Park ?

The 1.8L has an 11mm plug/bolt on the trans. housing near the axle.
After running the auto to normal operating temp., park on a level surface.
Locate the 11mm check plug, and with the vehicle at idle, remove the check plug.
If the Dexron VI fluid dips out of the check/drain hole, then all is well.
If no fluid is dripping then, add more trans. fluid. Small amounts at a time.
