I hear you about the $$ situation - don't think there is anyone from that 1% group on these forums. But you're all set with the plan you have. If you see any oil in the wells, you can just give all the bolts another small tweek. And who knows, when you finally get around to checking the torque, it may turn out that your fingers actually did A-ok ;)

hello I have a new problem was wondering if you could help I have a clunking noise in the dash passenger side near the window or about that area how do I get the dash off on the right side to see what is rattling when I hit bumps in the road it sounds like a clunking noise I looked up under the glove box but could not feel anything loose

Thank you all for this thread. It turned the unknown into an afternoon's chore. One more point: keep track of firing order; the wires get pretty scrambled as they're pulled to the side.

Good Day could some one please assist me with this problems? My Aveo bend outlet valves when waterpump cranked up, i sent the car to be fixed, after a while the following issues arises
1) When i start(Cold Start in the morning) my aveo 2007 it smokes white smoke, soon as engin is hot it go's away
2) My car also leak oil through the head just above the plug closest to the battery side
the head was sent to an engineering works where they skimmed and reseat all the goodies
They say that the aveo 2007 does not get re torque is that true or must it be re torque?
