Re: Various DTC Codes, Transmission Not Shifting Into 4th Gear
low voltage on the throttle position sensor does not mean its signal is of for the full range of use.. it might read correctly from 2000-4000 rpm. but read low in another area.. or correctly at idle, low through acceleration, and normal at wot.
the timing belt being replaced lead me to think maybe something isnt hooked up, missing vacuum line, or something to the tranny. the same with the plugs on the tranny for shifting. but to diagnose it you need more than just the two generic trans codes.
the two could be symptoms of a related problem of something not plugged in properly. its not as easy as reading codes to fix it..
Re: Various DTC Codes, Transmission Not Shifting Into 4th Gear
ok so last night i got off work, i get in my car, i put it in Drive, and it doesnt jerk. i start driving down the road and its shifting like its suppose to and the check engine light cuts off. the night before that I had changed my spark plugs and i thought that was what might have cured it. So i take it to the dealership today and they drive it and hook it up to read the codes that were stored and they tell me I need a new throttle body, 300 bucks parts and labor. so that is what I'm probably gonna go ahead and do. hope your problem is a simple one man.

i always thought it was the TB, either being defective or dirty, but in most cases its what you are fixing when you get the chance lol
