      Exclamation Shortage? In alarm.

When I first bought my '05 Aveo, It made the ''Cherp'' when I locked it and armed my car, Now It only arms my car if I'm lucky about once a week even when i hold down the lock button. Thinking there may be a shortage but not sure, Anyone else have this problem and if so, How did you fix it? Thanks.

Check your hood switch. Hold it down with your thumb and try to set the alarm.

You beat me to answering, this should be in a Sticky with common problems. They're blasted with road spray and eventually corrode and fall apart, that's what mine did. It's an EASY $8 fix.
