Hi group, I fried my airbag controller when I was figuring out a battery problem, I drove cross country with the airbag out and it scared the crap out of me.

Long story short, remove the center consul 3 screws then a 13mm to loosen the parking brake don't forget to block your car so you don't roll.

Then wiggle and pop the leatherette covering the stick and the brake up use a plastic spatula tool or maybe a flat item to help you (forgot the name spudger) remove the electrical to the plug and maybe the brake

Then get rid of it the airbag requires you remove the negative battery cable then 13mm x 3 bolts and it comes off there is a lever you pull then the connector comes off in my car it was near the stick shift. you send it to myairbags.com in Georgia tell them the car was hit slightly in a parking lot don't say it got wet if it did.

They repaired it in 24 hours and it cost 68 with shipping awesome!! plugged it in after removing the battery cable and in 5 sec. working airbag!!! so stoked.

Learned this via ancel the obdii company customer service guy he was awesome...
