Radio and clock stopped working! Help!

My clock also resets to 1:00 every time I start the car. Is there any easy fix? I have never soldered before. I also noticed some strange connection to the overhead light. Clock resets when the light is used as well. I am not car savy but up for some investigation. any help is appreciated!!

Give it a shot, it worked on mine. You really have nothing to lose. At worse you pick up a new one from a dealer/online (which you're trying to avoid), or another used one from a wrecker/ebay (which might just have the same inevitable issue). I'd recommend a little electrical solder to just top up the solder points. But don't touch them too long, you don't want to over 'melt' them. Good luck!
