      Pulling out exhaust maniverter?

Replacing the exhaust maniverter on my 2010 Aveo. Firt time I've done this on the newer model where the precat is welded to the manifold instead of a separate bolt on. Have the shield, O2 sensor, end lift eys removed, all the bolts/nuts off the maniverter and its free and ready to pull. But it won't fit and gets hung on the fan shroud. Before I yank the engine mounting bracket to shift the engine or have to remove the fan I'm hoping someone has a better idea?

Never mind, the fan isn't as hard to pull as I was thinking. Got it out fine after that.

Grr, some jerk hollowed out the pre cat before I got it. No wonder by O2 sensors read the same and the car has no power!

I made a comprehensive guide on how to replace the converters that you can refer back to with confidence.
