Oil spays out of dipstick tube?

Just noticed that the oil sprays out of the dipstick tube. Is that blow by? Bad valves, rings ect.? No engine lights, little rough idle and lifter noise.

If the PCV system is plugged, you may get vapor pressure built up in the crankcase that could push oil out the dipstick tube, but most likely you have a worn engine with blow by.
Check the PCV system….you could be lucky.

I'd bet it's worn out. Previous owner didn't take care of it. He did do a timing job while back but its got a noise from either a pulley or crank. With lifter tick. Will post vids later
