Need help diagnosing a troubling sound

It just started yesterday. Only when the car is moving do I hear a low "howling" sound coming from the back of my vehicle. It sounds like a muffled strong wind. The kind of a sound that you would hear from inside your home if there was a strong wind blowing outside. Any ideas? Brakes? Wheel bearings? Differential?

I forgot to post that I have a 2005 Aveo LS with 76,000 miles.

I think that I found the source of the noise. Low tire pressure!
