Intempestive Alarm rising (aveo 2008 1400lt

      Hello,

Sometimes, my alarm rise. (no doors open, hood, ...)

Is there a way to informaticaly diagnose which sensor rise the alarm?
I ve an ELM327 reader, but i think it only read OBD information (palmer program), and think this information is not accessible by OBD?
I also have (share with a friend) a VCI (chinees copy of Delphi VCI) but i can't found how to use it. I have tried/installed TIS2WEB and Tech2win. --> but i can't use it as i would like (i have temporary licence)?

Some one can give me advice? how diagnose the on board computer?

      Thanks for your help.

Sorry for my bad English. My mother language is french...

9 times out of 10 it is the hood switch that gives false alarms. Check the continuity of the switch if you can. If you can't, just replace it and see if that solves the problem. Chances are it will. Let us know what happens.
