Horn wont shut off

So my horn started to completely stay on when my car is on or off. my horn buttons are not stuck or sticky. only way i get it to turn off is to unplug it or unplug the horn fuse inside the engine. any idea what this could be? its super annoying haha

Look for a short or bare wire touching metal. Is the horn itself just screwed up? Time to troubleshoot.

in all honesty i can remember if the horn beeps with the engine off ( i feel like i should know that.. )

but this sounds like a bad horn unit itself. But can just as easily be a short.

well its hard to navigate through those wires to find any shorts, ive tried but didnt get much of a result. This happened during the winter time, ive just unplugged it. i tried putting it in a different spot today and it worked for a few horn beeps then started to just stay on i gave my neighbors quite the show lol. still stuck....

just replaced my horn the two wire prongs that go into the plug corode inside the horn and causees this i cut off the plug and put on aftermarket horn for 16$ problem solved

hmm, mine was doing the same thing at 2:00 am the other evening, i just pulled the battery cable to stop it, till i could figurte it out, and still haven't, ill take a look at the connections tomorrow, thanks
