AveoJunk, I realize that. As I said I was trained on AC systems, and that's what I'm used to, I am learning as I go with cars, but there is a lot that is backwards and that throws me off.

so it is constant power, which means if the horn itself is defective and shorting itself, it will be honking unstoppably.
test it with a test light like i said. if the light blinks with the horn button on the wheel, buy a new horn (two wire).
No worries, Like it said it throws me off. I am more interested in vehicles than I am in household so I just need to get used to it, if I don't remind myself constantly I will forget or miss something.
Anyway, have fun with the horn replacement, just take the grill out and it's all right there. Should be enough room for just about any horn you could buy.
