High RPMs at 55mph 2006 Aveo

I have a 2006 Aveo automatic and a few days ago I noticed that when I'm driving at 55mph my RPMs are around 4000. So I pulled over and turned off the car and started it again. I noticed that it wont shift into 4th gear and my cruise control and hold button do not work. My check engine light is on so I pulled all the codes from it.

      P0717
      P2106
      P2110
      P1516
      P0107
      P0700
      P2135
      P0502
      P0700

Any ideas? I also recently replaced the throttle body, which seems to be a common issue in the forums.

P0717 some sort of speed sensor
      P2106 throttle body safe mode
      P2110 forced limited rpm
      P1516 throttle?
      P0107 map sensor
      P0700 transmission error code
      P2135 tps
P0502 high rpm low vehicle speed
      p0700 repeat.

seems like the tranny got confused because your throttle was stuck open?
clean out the throttle body really really well. its a common issue.

I just replaced my throttle body 5 days ago. Would it need to be cleaned that early?

it should not, but did you turn the car on or anything during the process? clear the codes, go for a drive see which come back, typically the tranny issues are from throttle signal not matching the coil pack signal (or missing on or the other). your description could sound like a tranny issue, but it might have locked itself in gear for "safe" mode and you just revved it that high.

I took it to the dealership ($400 later because I'm out of warranty) and they returned it with the light still on. I won't be able to clear the codes until tomorrow to see if that works. Any suggestions of a place that can clear the codes?

in california? do you have advance auto, parts america, napa etc? many of those scan/clear codes for free, particularly advance auto.
