Exclamation HELP! Can't drive till I fix this problem

I was just installing new HID lights today when all of a sudden my car started beeping. Both High and Low beams don't work, but the auxillary lights do. Blinkers are out, hazards work.

I am aware that the radio and headlights run on the same circut, and my radio re-sets every 10 seconds or so automatically.

I unplugged my headlights completely and the problem still exists, I'm wondering if maybe it is a fuse or something that may have been blown. I checked them out and they all seem to be alright.

The battery is being sucked dry by this problem, and has to be on a charger. I can't even start it let alone drive at night time with no head lights.

      Please help, Thanks!

check all of the fuses, inside and out, if it is not a fuse then something is shorting out im guessing, but I would be sure it is a fuse

sounds like your drawing too much power and tripping the relay. Are you sure you installed it correctly?

disconnect what you did, and see if the problem goes away. If not pull the relay and see if just the radio works.

Did you ever try to start the new hid lights? Did this happens seconds or minutes after you started them up? If this is the case you most likely either tripped the relay or fryed it altogether. If this started as soon as you flicked the switch to turn on the lights its most likely a fuse. Worst case scenario you fried your stock wiring for your headlights, put in your halogens again, take out the relay for the headlights and give it a few taps with a screwdriver or something like that and put it back in and try to start your halogens back up. That totally sucks that this happened to you man, best of luck and I hope you figure out what it causing this.
