Headlight issue
It seems that I have a issue with my headlights. Between 6-8 months I lose a headlight (Low Beam only). Also there is a ceramic type resister behind the drivers head light that has fallen apart. Anyone know what that is? Any ideas on how to fix the headlight issue?
Thanks in advance.

How do you "lose" a headlight? it burns out? thats pretty typical... especially if you dont change them in pairs/ do a lot of night driving. Light bulbs dont last forever. cant help with the resistor behind the headlight though...

I guess I should have spelled it our clearer. Yes they burn out. Really.... every 6-8 months? Just doesn't seem right. I don't replace the headlights in my other vehicles this fast that get driven just as much.

Also with daytime running lights and how they are installed. Clean your connectors.

OK I'll try cleaning. What would you recommend? Also when I install the headlights I don't touch the glass on the bulbs.

baking soda or cherry coke with wire brush.
