      engine hesitating

I have a 2009 Aveo with 27,000 miles and it has started to either hesitate or misfire but only when the engine is warm as it runs fine cold.
It seems to do this the most between 2000 and 3000 rpm because after it reaches the higher rpm it seems to do fine
      Any ideas
      Larry

Not sure if the 09 has the same engine as an 06 but the fix for this on my 06 is to wipe all the mystery residue out of the throttle body.
I remove the intake hose and use an old toothbrush and some papertowels. I hold the throttle open while cleaning as much residue as possible..(heavy black on the papertowel) I use some gumout too...the throttle begin to open/close smoothly without a sticky spot. It's solved the hesitation issue 2wice now.

The 09 and 06 have different engines. I had a similar problem, twice. Check your spark plugs for carbon tracking. The first time it happened it didn't throw a code (#4 Plug) and the 2nd time it happened, I had the P0300 and P0301 (random cylinder misfire and misfire detected cylinder 1; respectively)

      Thanks for the tip
I took it to my dealer and they replaced the #1 plug and the wires at no charge still under warranty and they were very nice about handling it Columbia Chevrolet Cincinnati I would buy a car from them again based on my experience

      ...and the wires?

Glad to hear they fixed you up. The spark plugs should have been replaced at 24k as preventative maintenance so that was VERY good of them to take care of you at no charge. The 2009 Aveo does not have spark plug wires though.
