      Disabled check engine light

      Hi all,

I've just bought a Chevy Aveo hatchback ( 2008 ) and it seems that the check engine light is disconnected. I would like to try and fix it.

      Details:
Both the check engine light and the oil pressure light are off when I'm switching on the ignition. Both lights located in the clock panel. All the other lights are on when I turn the ignition on (in both the gauges and the clock panels).
I guess that the previous owners sabotaged it deliberately to hide a malfunctioning TPS.

More details that might help with the diagnostics:
-I've checked the resistivitiy all over the clock panel and it seems ok.
      -The led bulbs also ok.
-The connector to the clock panel is ok
-The OBD reader shows no faults.

Any ideas for how to solve the problem?

      Thanks,
      Sagie
