What does this switch look like?

I am having problems with my lights also...no dash or running lights. At night the only thing working is the headlights and brakes/blinkers.Where is the switch at? I have the cover off and don't know what I am looking for....Thank you for any help...Will I be able to replace this myself(limited car repair knowledge)?

^^thats the fusebox under the hood.
on the bottom right, theres the white thing,
referred to by the shop as the junction block.
      slightly burnt.
      cause of my problem.
they bypassed it underneath, slipped it back in and all is well.
      that's good, something so simple....

Check the fuses, that is most likely the issue, there is a bunch of fuses under the hood and on the drivers side dash, take each fuse out and see if it looks burnt on the ends. You can also get a tester at your local auto part store and see if any of the fuses are bad that way as well (you should just go to the part store anyways as you should need some fuses/should have some fuses in the car at all times just in case). People at the store may help you test or change the fuse as well.

the switch is the thing you use to turn on the lights and turn signals while driving.

For yours I would start with the potentiometer, and switch that comes on when you put your vehicle in gear (parking brake switch on manual's) If you still have headlights and turn signals, then the switch I mentioned in that post is apparently doing it's job. Dash lights and DRL's are a different story. Check that relay that the OP mentions as well.

      pull hard?

it its a junction, you might ned to split the board from the fuse block, (take the fuse block in half).

if you dont want he jumping to look as clean as the dealer did, jump over it, and dont take it out.
