      Cruise Not Working After Alternator Failure

      We just bought my son an 07 Aveo. 3 hours after picking it up the alternator went out! It has been fixed under warranty but now the cruise doesn't work. Not sure if it matters but the battery got drained completely and the car died on the way back to the dealer.

      Is there anything the mechanic could have bumped replacing the alternator? I plan on taking it back to them, but if it's something simple I'm willing to take care of it myself.

      Fuses would be something to look at, but if they are willing to do it for free then they might as well handle it.

      Big old' DUH moment! Didn't know there was a switch tucked in back there! LOL

      Cruise works just fine.
