      First, my apologies for the horrendous photos!
      My '05 automatic hatchback is leaking coolant like no other, to the point that it can't be driven anymore. I've ruled out the radiator and water pump- both have been replaced, and I think I've located the coolant to the hose on the back of the engine.

      I believe this hose is the water hose, #13 on the diagram, if not also maybe #17. Can anyone verify that this is indeed a part on the '05? Thanks for your help!

      Correct, you will need to remove the starter and rear brace from intake to block in order to remove this pipe. Should have heater core hoses and the main house from the coolant expansion tank attached to it. They get brittle over time and can crack easily. More than likely have to order the part. Its not something they normally have in stock at your local auto parts store.

      here’s a better picture of the plastic tube

      with the age of our vehicles, I would recommend replacing EVERY SINGLE coolant hose while you’re at it. I did and am glad I did. It’s nice piece of mind, and not expensive if you get them on line.
