coolant gushing out the reservoir when engine turns off

Hi! I'm wenn did everyone experience water coming out the coolant reservoir after engine is turned off, my temperature guage is still in the middle of hot and cold...I have an Aveo 2007 with 139000 km reading still running good....thanks

Hi Wenn. I'm assuming you haven't over filled the coolant reservoir. That sounds like the CAP for the reservoir may no longer be holding the pressure to me.

Thanks for the reply actually mechanic told me to replace the whole reservoir tank I am just hesitant that it is not broken.....thanks again too poison ivy

Check your coolant lines coming from the fill, there could be a leak in there or the back flow stop is broken.
