Clutch release shaft broken or torqued?

My 2008 Chevrolet Kalos/Aveo has a clutch problem. The clutch release shaft touches the stop point on the gear box without even starting to release the clutch. The slave cylinder is at his maximum extension. This happened suddenly. I replaced the clutch and the cylinders, no improvement. Could it be a torqued or broken shaft?

Unfortunately no idea until it’s out of the vehicle. Could be the shaft, or the bearing could have disintegrated.

It was a throw-out bearing problem.

At least it’s a much easier part to source. Everything operating correctly now?

The last time this happened to my car it was the clutch release lever, it torqued itself an extra quarter turn and the slave cylinder plunger was fully extended, unable to push the lever further to engage the clutch.

I've read somewhere online that simply replacing the clutch lever and the throw out bearing will get you back onto the road for the remainder of the clutch life.

But I've always opted for the slave cylinder and full clutch kit replacement along with the clutch push lever, because it was already all taken apart and had already cost me $800 at the local mechanic shop either way.

      Hope this info helps.
