Clock won't keep the right time

      Hi All.....again

I have a 2011 Aveo that is about as basic as you can get. It's more an annoyance than anything else but every third or fourth day of setting the clock it seems to reset itself. I had the battery, alternator and starter tested all ok. I can think of anything else to check short of swapping out the clock component.... if it is easy to do. Would anyone care to comment?

This is very common. Plenty of examples on Aveoforum, but here's great instructions on repairing: (credit to ChevyCC!)

My 2010 started doing this about a year ago, I reseated the possible fuse(s), and unplugged and replugged the clock back in, and it hasn't done it since. So maybe try that first, solder repair second, replacement third? Search the forum, if you want further examples.
