Check engine light on
I've battled this problem for a while. And a few others lol. So fixed some and few others got to fix now. Check engine came up and took it to a local mechanic. One of them has 3 hours or work so he says lol. The other said he charges $80 to diagnose it. Crap. That's almost what my Aveo is worth lol. I was wondering if anyone has a computer to diagnose the check engine? I can drive to u. I would really appreciate it. I'm guessing it has something to do with that acceleration jerking thing going on

i have one, but i'm more than $80 in gas away :P
do you have a parts place local to you that scans cars for free?
-
Lol I heard most auto parts stores just sell them now they don't do that. But ima call a few other places. There has to be one lol

Auto parts stores will read them, just not clear them. They used to do that. I have 3 parts stores within 500 ft of each other and about a 5 min drive away from my house that will scan my codes

Your right. Not orileys or autozone. Called a pep boys and thell give me the code (: ima head over in a little. Thanks
