CEL with P2135 code
So ive been getting a check engine light on and off lately and its always the same P2135 code. I did a little research and found that it has something to do with my throttle position sensor. I haven't paid much attention to it but now it seems that when i have the pedal about 1/4 of the way down, the engine will hesitate between 2600 rpm and 3300 rpm and then it will kick up after the 3300 rpm and operate as usual.
Has anyone else had this problem? TSB maybe? Im thinking of just buying a new throttle position sensor from the dealer and replacing it myself.

Re: CEL with P2135 code
no it doesnt stick, I have stupid drive by wire. Oh and I have disconnected the Drive by wire assembly to fix my engine when water was in it. I read that engine has to "learn" the throttle positions everytime the TPS is disconnected. But then again that was on a nissan forum..

Re: CEL with P2135 code
If you have the Siemen ECM, there is no learning.

Re: CEL with P2135 code
You prolly have one. I had that code come up a few times myself, brought it to the dealership and they changed the whole throttle body.

Re: CEL with P2135 code
I c, I would take it to the dealer but 1. I hate dealers 2. Ive driven my car through water, lol. 3. My interior is completely stripped and 4.I hate dealers
Guess I have to replace the sensor, I hope they sell it seperate without having to buy the whole TB.
How much was the TB? Does it say on your work order?

Re: CEL with P2135 code
the throttle body is probably around $250...i just looked it up on car-parts.com and they are all below that and they usually sell higher at the dealer...what year is your aveo?
