Battery Cable
So while I was coming home from the Doctor, my battery cable somehow broke. I noticed that when I had turned on my lights going through a tunnel on the highway the interior lights kept flashing on and off. Supposedly, this cable costs $600.00, and I don't need the whole cable. I just need the metal piece that comes off the cable, to the battery pole.
Has anyone seen this piece oxidized so bad that it actually broke?
Also, i've been reading some posts where people have had to change their timing belt and where it is " recommended" to do so. IM already at 59652 miles. Has anyone had to change theirs? I can't find my owners manual, and have been having a lot of trouble with my internet ( cant wait to change providers) so downloading is a bit of a hassle.
thanks

$600? You can get the parts you need for $30. Very simple to fix

If it's the 2011 in your 'garage' your timing belt is fine. Recommend as per the owners manual is at 100,000 miles. The 2004 to 2008s had the shorter interval.

Yes, mine corroded from battery acid and completely broke. Trying to find out where to get that part! It's basically the piece that goes from the positive battery terminal to the fuse. Anyone know what this is called and where to find it?

Google "universal Battery Terminal"
