aveo 2009 sedan - Light always on from the passenger Airbag Switch in gloves box

Hi.
i will try to explain my self.
i bought few months go aveo sedan 2009 , i dont drive it much maybe once or twice a week.
past 4 months i own it. my battery went dead 2 times.
last week when i cane back home very late i noticed there is a dim light coming from the gloves box.
i opened it, the light comes from the back of the Passenger Airbag Switch( yello-green light ).
i suspect that light help drain my car battery.
what is the meaning of this light. its always on even when car is off&locked.
how can i change so it wont dim?
