AC vibration and hum.

My 07 hatch has a lot of vibration and shaking in the steering wheel when the AC is turned on. It's more noticeable in idle while in drive-gear but seems to go away if put in park or neutral. The AC seems to have also developed this humming sound-only when it's on and I'm accelerating. Dealership replaced mounts but no difference. Is this annoying vibration normal on these cars? I bought it with 50k. Thanks JD

that does not sound right, maybe your ac pump is bad hanging up the belt, causing the power steering to surge..

I have the same issue. Did you ever find out what the issue was?
