      2011 Aveo misfire help needed

Hello, I have a 2011 aveo with a misfire issue.

About 3000 miles ago I changed the spark plugs and everything was fine. Now my car started to shutter and have poor acceleration with no codes. I figured I would replace the spark plugs once more.

The next morning I got a misfire in cylinder 1. I got home from work and inspected the spark plugs everhthing seemed to be fine. I put everything back together to now have code p0300 <random misfire>.

I went ahead and replaced the coil pack. I still have the p0300 code and I am 100 bucks into this repair. Does anyone else have any advice? I need to get to work tomorrow.

      Thank you,

I replaced the air filter amd the car seems to be running fine and there are no dash lights. I am going to drive it to work tomorrow and rescan when i get home. The car seems to idle just below the 1000 rpms. Can anyone verify if this is a normal idle?

Normal idle for the E-tecII (older motor) is ~950 RPM. Can't confirm for the 2011 but it sounds right.

I am now getting p0301 misfire cylinder 1. I am not sure why. This is the only code.

Have you checked for spark, compression and fuel on the cylinder?
