Hello Everyone.
I recently purchased an Aveo LT and I'm having an issue with the passenger airbag light not responding properly. I know that, depending on the weight of the person, the system will decide to turn the airbad on or off but in my case, it's random. I can sit in it one minute and the airbag light will say "On" but if I try again later in the day, the airbag light will say "Off." It's not just random with me either. It's the same for my wife and friends.

Sorry that you are dealing with this issue. I would suggest that you take the vehicle to a Chevrolet dealer. A diagnosis is an important part in determining the cause of the airbag light issue. It also helps to determine the estimated cost of repairs. Once a proper diagnosis has been conducted by a dealership you can decide how you want to proceed. You can also send me your VIN and current mileage and I can see what warranty may be applicable.
