2010 Aveo LT Engine Temp Gauge Failure

My 2010 Chevy Aveo LT's coolant temp gauge quit functioning in its entirety. When I start the vehicle and begin to drive, I get no indications of engine coolant temp whatsoever. I'm assuming that the issue relates to the coolant temp sensor being faulty, however, I would like a second opinion on the matter. Nevertheless, I have no idea where the coolant temp sensor is located on this particular model of Aveo, and I have struggled to find any adequate engine diagrams revealing its location. If anyone knows of its exact whereabouts are, that information would also be greatly appreciated.
